Abstract

In many cities, the use of civic high density has generated an urban environment of discomfort, due to the modification of the energy balance affecting the thermal environment in open spaces directly. Increase of urban temperature has a direct effect on energy consumption, thermal comfort and environmental contamination of the urban spaces (Akbari et al., 1992).
