Solar Radiation Measurement Net at Uruguay
Abstract
In 2 9 the Faculty of Engineering (FIng) of the University of the Republic of Uruguay has signed an agreement with the National Energy Board for the investigation of the solar resource in Uruguay. It was decided on this basis the implementation of a network based on autonomous measuring stations, consisting of data loggers and pyranometer sensors. It was considered from the beginning as a design target, the development of a self-powered measuring station, so independence from the mains is guaranteed.
