Investigation and Experiment of Coupling Heating Device Based on Solar Energy and Dual Source Heat Pump
Abstract
Solar heating system and ASHP are coupled in order to improve energy efficiency of single energy system. For our developed device, dual source heat pump unit is equipped with both air-cooled evaporator and water-cooled evaporator. Air-cooled evaporator extracts energy from the air for ASHP heating. Water-cooled evaporator combines with solar collecting system to extract solar energy at low temperature, so that solar energy and WSHP are coupled for heating. In this way, solar energy can be more fully utilized and COP of heat pump unit will also be improved. Experiment shows that the COP of heat pump unit reaches 3.8~4.4 when that is used as WSHP combined with solar energy, compared with 1.6~2.2 in the condition of ASHP heating. The average ratio of heat supply to electricity consumption during test period is as high as 3.1.
