Abstract

The large scale solar district heating system in Langkazi, Tibet, China utilizes a solar thermal system with pit storage to supply space heating to Langkazi city through a district heating network. The systems was completed by Sunrain Group,Solareast-Arconsunmark and Beijing heating company. The project is located at 90°40‘77.58 E and 28°97’56.13” N, altitude is 4600m, the coldest temperature in winter is -30℃, heating season is 251 days. Total investment of the project is 173 million RMB; Heating area is 156,000 ㎡. The project is implemented in two phases, among which phase I (2018) total investment is about 120 million RMB, heating area is 82600 ㎡, completion date: by the end of October 2018. Design ideas: In the design and construction of the first phase, the second phase is reserved. The heat exchange station, main heat supply network are in accordance with the design of 156,000 ㎡.The heat exchange station and equipment rooms have reserved space for the second-phase expansion equipment.
