Abstract

In recent years the green business has seen much fluctuation and a downturn on the market cycle, however, the long-term trend remains bullish as these business models provide value in such novel ways that they become even more obvious as our global climate continues to deteriorate. Green business through distributed energy generation and storage can help mitigate the effects of climate change while also providing greater energy resiliency, independence, reliability, and security for everyone around the world. This is valued especially in areas of the world where a natural disaster has already struck, as a Case Study we can take Puerto Rico, and how Solar + Storage has become their solution as traditional utilities have not done enough to rebuild the infrastructure as much as it is required.
