Solar Thermochemical Splitting of CO2 in a Modular Solar Dish-Reactor System
Abstract
We report on the first-ever pilot demonstration of CO2-neutral methanol production from air and sunlight in a modular solar dish reactor system. We describe the process chain and its key components, and present a representative on-sun run with fully-automated consecutive CO2-splitting and H2O-splitting redox cycles.
