Design of Solar Thermal Systems for Mining Industry
Abstract
The development of modeling tools is a critical phase for developing solar energy projects. The design and performance analysis of solar thermal systems based on a modular modeling approach is an efficient method to design and evaluate the performance of solar mining processes. This paper presents the application of a modular modeling approach to design low-cost solar processes for mining industries at Chilean’s Atacama desert.
