Analysis of Heat Gain Decrease Achived by Ventilation Heat Recovery in Solar Cooling Building: Case Study
Abstract
The aim of this work is to present the improvement of the efficiency of the solar building cooling system by using ventilation with heat recovery, and thus reducing required cooling power of air conditioning system. The heat recovery system is divided into zones with countercurrent heat exchangers (laboratories, required system tightness, no air recirculation) and spiral countercurrent heat exchangers (office and conference rooms). The analysis was carried out for the real living conditions of the rooms, measured on the site and climatic data of a typical meteorological year.
