Creep and Fatigue Damage Assessment for Molten-Salt Central Receivers
Abstract
A preliminary analysis on the creep and fatigue share in a molten salt central receiver is carried out for different days of the year and direct normal irradiance configurations, showing that, with a reasonable control of the receiver operation, the creep is the most concerning cause of receiver damage.
