Sustainable and Efficient Energy Supply for the Development of Tourist Villages at the Adriatic and Ionian Sea
Abstract
The increasing number of tourists in small villages at the Adriatic and Ionian Sea causes problems in view of marine pollution, energy consumption, CO2 emissions and the accumulation of waste. Aim of the project is the development of an overall sustainable EcoTourism. To reduce energy consumption, the refurbishment of buildings and implementation of renewable energy will be in focus.
