Comparison of a Centralized with Decentralized Heat Pump Systems in a Multy Family Building
Abstract
The goal of the project from which the work presented here originates is the development of decentralized heat pump systems, which are to be combined into a swarm for the optimal use of PV electricity. In order to be able to quantify the effects of this swarm control at a later stage, the first step was to compare one centralized and six decentralized heat pump systems in a multi-family house. It could be shown that the decentralized systems already enable savings in electrical energy of up to 32% in the purely heat-controlled mode of operation.
