Heat Pumps in Positive Energy Districts
Abstract
A new Annex in the Heat Pumping Technologies Program HPT of the International Energy Agency deals with heat pump (HP) application in clusters of buildings and positive energy neighbourhoods. Based on the state of the art the Annex systematically investigates HP concepts in more detail regarding design and control by simulation and monitoring, both for new built and renovation. The paper gives an outline of the Annex work and more detailed insight into four exemplary case studies to be investigated within the Annex framework.
