Angel-Dependent Features of MorphoColor TM Solar Collectors: Color Stability, IAM, Yield
Abstract
In the project "Farbkollektor - Concepts for Architecturally Adapted Collectors for Existing and New Buildings", funded by the German Federal Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK), Fraunhofer ISE has developed MorphoColorTM coatings for use in aesthetically ambitious solar collectors with high efficiency and ensured their marketability. The influence of the MorphoColorTM coatings on the annual yield was successfully minimized. The design possibilities shown in this article represent only a small part of the general possibilities. The first applications of MorphoColorTM collectors are currently being implemented in Jenbach, Austria and Freiburg, Germany and monitored by Fraunhofer ISE.
