Hardware-in-the-Loop Integration of PVT Models using Internet of Things-enabled Communication
Abstract
In previous works, Jonas et al. developed a PVT model in the TRNSYS simulation tool. In this contribution, the authors have developed a networked Hardware-in-the-Loop (HiL) framework that emulates a PVT collector and integrates it into a complete building energy system with hydraulic circuit, heat exchanger, and thermal storage tank as a use case by applying six identified test reference days in the HiL testbed incorporating Internet of Things-enabled Message Queueing Telemetry Transport (MQTT) communication.
