Abstract

This work presents the modeling and validation of a compact PV-powered thermoelectric heat storage system for domestic hot water applications. A 40 L stratified tank is charged using a Peltier device under varying ambient conditions. Simulations show that full thermal charging (>99% SOC) is achieved within 6–10 hours using only a 270 Wp PV panel. The system is designed for decentralized, combustion-free hot water delivery in urban settings
