A Method to Guarantee the Performance of Solar Heating and Cooling Systems
Abstract
As the French project MeGaPICS Method towards the performance guarantee of solar cooling and heating installations ends after 4 years of work, the output of the project are presented. The project dealt with improving the performances and the quality of solar cooling, heating and domestic hot water preparation installations. The main outputs are guidelines to help professionals to handle correctly a SHC project (from the design to the monitoring and maintenance phase) and a simple presizing tool, validated with several methods.
